COTRAN NO.KC80 waterseal Mastic Tape - Applications:
1, Use for insulation, filling and moisture sealing in splies of all types of power cables and optical telecommunication cables. For PRIMARY INSULATION UP TO 1000 VOLTS.
2, Use for insulating and moisture sealing on bus bar.
3, Use for moisture sealing high or low voltage junction boxes and irregular splices.

COTRAN NO.KC80 waterseal Mastic Tape - Instruction:
1, Wipe off the dusts on the splice area before wrapping.
2, Remove the liner and stretch the tape to 1 to 2 times of its original length.
Apply the tape in 50%-lapped with mastic side toward area to be wrapped.
Stretching the tape to 4 times of its original length is not recommended.
3, Be sure to extend wrapping 30mm to 50mm up onto the cable jacket on both sides of the splice area.
4, After KC80 waterseal mastic tape is applied, overwrapping COTRAN PVC insulation tape is recommended. Apply 3 layers of COTRAN PVC insulation tape in a 50% overlapping with no tension. Make sure not to overstretch the PVC tape during application.
